Alice Balderrama Maldonado
of Manor, TX and formerly of San Antonio, TX, departed this life to
be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 26. She was born in Big Foot, Texas on
March 17, 1936, and was a much beloved sister and aunt. She entered into
Heaven surrounded by her loving family.
She
was preceded in death by parents Gregoria and Juvencio Balderrama and
husband Joe Maldonado. She is survived by her sister Ernestine (Tina) Balderrama
Kubicek and husband Henry, brothers Edward M. Balderrama, Raul M. Balderrama and
wife Olivia, Richard M. Balderrama and wife Maria Elena, and Arturo M.
Balderrama and wife Sandra. She is also survived by eight nephews, three
nieces, and numerous grand nephews and nieces.
Alice
grew up in Brownwood, TX where she still has many friends. She was a
dedicated daughter, sister and wife who always put others before self. She
was retired from Santa Rosa Hospital, and Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital .
Alice leaves behind many friends who admired and loved her for the person and
friend she was to them.
The
family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Hospice Austin who helped her
face her battle against cancer with dignity and grace. Through her
suffering she has been made whole in Heaven and reunited with her loved ones who
awaited her. Rest in Peace Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
