Biography of Patricia Bagley Perry

Am retired again; this time it is permanent!  I'm thankful for my 25 years in the classroom, but I'm also grateful for the times I haven't had to be there.  So far, life has been too busy to do any of the things I dreamed of doing. during retirement.  There is always an office to fill, some service to be rendered, an adventure to pursue, and the inevitable mundane to accomplish.

Robert: My Texas Tech electrical engineer is happy to be retired from the electric utility business and even the consulting work he did after retirement.  Now he "works" 3 days a week with some friends who are all members of our church.  He enjoys this document storage responsibility too much for me to call it a "job".

Younger son: He graduated from Hardin-Simmons with a degree in music business.  Before graduation he did an intern ship in Nashville and decided her really liked the place.  He now lives in Franklin, TN and still works in the business branch of the contemporary Christian music industry,

Older Son: He earned an MBA from Texas A&M after returning from teaching in a Christian High school in Japan for over 2½ years. Now he works out if the Dallas office of a large company that has stores in 47 states plus Puerto Rico.  I do not envy his suitcase life as he travels to do international auditing.

Oldest Child as well as only daughter:  Busy!  She works in the human resources department of an international firm in Dallas.  She is also a doctorial candidate at A&M  so she is traveling weekly between her house in Dallas and her house in Bryan..  She is a current recipient of a $25,00 Fellowship from TCALL (based on A&M campus) so that fills up most of her time.  In March she spoke at a conference in Belfast, North Ireland.  Did I mention that she stays busy?

Robert and I will celebrate 44 years of marriage in August.( Yes I know we are newlyweds compared to some of you).  We feel very blessed in our lives. (To God be the Glory!)  I pray for God's blessing on all of you in your life as well.
