Biography for MARVIN A BRINCEFIELD

After graduation stayed around Brownwood for the summer. Joined the Air Force in September and spent the next 21½ years in the Air Force. Spent tours in France , Germany , India , Panama , and Thailand .

Married the former Linda Lou Calder of Mullin in October 1962, and have been married for 44 years. We have two children, five grand-children and one great grandson.

After retiring from the Air Force went to work for Wichita County in the Tax Assessor- Collector's office in the motor vehicle tax and titling division. Have been the supervisor for 20 plus years.

Active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars. I am the District 15 chairman for the VFW Voice of Democracy Scholarship Program for students the 9th through 12th grade and also chairman for Patriot's Pen Youth Essay Program for students in the 6th through 8th grade.  

Founding member of the North Texas Veterans Council and have been secretary for six years and also Vice Chairman.
