Attended Abilene Christian University, graduated 1962 - BS in
Home Economics. Married, August 1958 to Bob Joy. We met at ACU, married, moved 5
blocks away and are still there.
I taught home economics at Franklin Jr. High, Mann Jr. High, Abilene
Christian University, and Abilene High School. I was department
chairperson at Abilene High for the last 10 years I taught. I retired
in 1994. We travel with a Good Sam travel club. We are
active in church work at Hillcrest Church of Christ.
We have 2 children: Paul Joy - Abilene - works for WalMart, and Karen
Joy Norfolk is a physical therapist in Ft. Worth. . I now have a
granddaughter. Aubrey Nichole Norfolk was born Sept. 25, 2006 in
Grapevine, Tx.
