Biography for Jimmie Frances Griffin Croker:

 

    Hi, All.  In the last five years there have been lots of changes in my life, and most changes have been good.  My last grandchild was born, giving me one girl and four boys to add to my two sons and two daughters-in-law.  

    On my birthday, 3 1/2 years ago I had a total knee replacement, which was semi-successful.  In 2005 I lost Mom and my aunt.  In 2006 I had laser eye surgery in both eyes for glaucoma.

    Country life is wonderful here in Field Creek, even if alone.  One of my favorite places to be is still on my old '65 Massey tractor feeding my few cows.  My nearest neighbor is over two miles away.  Llano is 22 miles east, Brady 30 miles west, Mason 25 miles southwest, and Pontotoc 2 miles west. 

    Email is a staple in my life for staying connected with family and friends idots@moment.net.  Also, I'm very active in volunteer church work in Llano.  The so-called "Golden Years" are not so "golden" at times, because my mind thinks I'm about 35, and my body reminds me otherwise.  Still, I'm content with life, and God blesses and watches over me all the time.  May He do the same for each of you.
