Biography for Elizabeth Burkhart McMinn

I only attended Brownwood High School my senior year.  I moved from Brownwood shortly

after  graduation  (August 1957). 

 

I married Jimmy McMinn in 1958,  we have two sons and four grandchildren (2 boys and

2 girls), we have 1 great-grandson  and I do mean GREAT!

 

My husband was in the service when we married, in 1959 we moved to Dallas, Tx. We lived

there until 1965. We wanted to live in a smaller city so we moved to Greenville, Tx.  After

our children  married we moved to Lake Fork to live on the lake in 1992 and we loved every minute of it.  My husband had some health problems so in 2005 we moved back  to Greenville so we could be closer to our children and the doctors.

 

I am retired from the banking industry.  I started in banking in 1959 in Dallas, Tx.  I have been in banking ever since.  I retired in 2003 from the City National Bank.  Although I am

retired, I still work when they call me for vacations.  I enjoy the people contact. 

 

I have had a good life, I am in good health (only older) no complaints God has Blessed me

with a wonderful husband and family.   I am Thankful!!!!!   

 

I am sorry I will not be able to attend the reunion,  HELLO !!  to everyone.
